Connie Lofgreen, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, has over 30 years experience in psychotherapy.  She conducts a private practice in Omaha, Nebraska, where she is also the creator and Clinical Director of STARPRO, an intensive outpatient treatment and recovery program for sex addicts and their families.

Connie is publishing a book, The Storm of Sex Addiction: Rescue and Recovery, which provides an overview of the sex addiction epidemic and its impact on families and society, while offering hopeful options for recovery and a happy life.

Connie’s experience and practical knowledge make her a sought after speaker for workshops and presentations.  She shares her expertise with professional and community organizations, addressing such topics such as the “Epidemic of Sex Addiction,” and “Healthy Parenting in the Computer Age.”  She is also an organizational consultant and trainer in the areas of clergy ethics and creating healthier congregations.

Connie received her Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University with a concentration in group work, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Kansas State University.  She is founder and former director of Shadow Wood Mental Health Services, a private practice group in Topeka, Kansas.
